MGW Elite Cheer is dedicated to providing area youth an opportunity to better their skills and environment where teamwork and sportsmanship take precedent. While competing eight months out of the year it is extremely important that our cheerleaders feel a strong sense of unity inside the team and respect for their opponents in both victory and defeat. We feel these lessons go far beyond the realm of competitive cheerleading and will carry on into the rest of their lives.
It is our goal to provide every one of our cheerleaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to continue their athletic careers into college and beyond.
Oh and we like to have a fun!
Staff:
Chris Shepherd This is Chris' first year at MGW. His diverse background in athletics has given him a unique perspective into the sport of cheerleading as well as great insight as to how successful athletic programs are run. He has been involved in athletics on nearly every level from a young age including basketball, football, and cheerleading at Jennings County High School, and as a cheerleader at Vincennes University. He has also coached cheerleading at JCHS.
