Madison gymnastics world has been a family owned business for 29 years and counting!!!!
Madison gymnastics world is owned and operated by stephanie kemp. stephanie is the daughter of paul and judy kemp. paul and judy opened mgw in august, 1980. since that time we have upgraded our facility three times and have produced over 5oo state, regional, or national champions. our most recent major success is alisha grubbs, 2009 level 9 regional and national all-around champion.
paul kemp owns midwest gym supply and produces and provides gymnastics equipment all over the united states. he is on the indiana state gymnastics committee as the south representative. he provides mgw with the highest quality of equipment in southern indiana. he makes sure that our gym environment is updated and safe.
judy kemp is a national rated gymnastics judge and is the indiana state judging director. she helps to evaluate our competitive gymnasts and she also works at our front desk.
stephanie kemp was a competitive gymnast for 11 years and has coached gymnastics for 19 years. she has owned gymnastics world for 10 years and intends to keep increasing the quality of the program for many years to come.
the kemp family's total combined experience in this sport is 90 years!!!! gosh, that makes us seem old!
our staff members are trained through usa gymnastics safety certification and through staff meetings held monthly to incorporate new ideas and progressions studied from usa gymnastics technique and different child development articles.
